About the Role
The job of a campground visitor attendant primarily involves assisting and supporting campers and visitors at a campground or recreational area. Their main responsibilities revolve around ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for the guests. The camp host is required to stay on site overnight in their own RV unit. Cedar & Spruce Consulting Ltd. is on the lookout for friendly, nature-loving Campground Managers (Hosts) to oversee front-country and back-country campgrounds in Kananaskis and Bow Valley (Canmore). If you love the idea of waking up to mountain views, helping happy campers, and keeping a beautiful park in top shape, this job is for you!
What You’ll Do:
🏕 Keep Things Running Smoothly – Maintain campsites, washrooms, and public areas while keeping an eye out for any safety concerns.
🎒 Be the Friendly Face of the Campground – Greet guests, assist with check-ins, answer questions, and share local tips.
🚔 Keep the Peace – Ensure rules are followed, conduct security patrols, and handle any campground concerns with a calm and professional approach.
🌲 Live the Park Life – Immerse yourself in the beauty of Alberta’s wild spaces while building a welcoming community for visitors.

Hosts must reside on-site in their own RV
Be available for guest assistance and emergencies – but don’t worry, you’ll have time to enjoy the great outdoors too!
What You Bring:
✅ A love for the outdoors and working with people
✅ Strong communication and problem-solving skills
✅ Valid Class 5 driver’s license
✅ First Aid Level 1
✅ Clear criminal record check (cost reimbursed)
✅ Ability to work independently and operate small equipment safely
The Nitty-Gritty:
⛺ Work outside in all kinds of weather – sun, rain, or even the occasional snowflake
⛺ Lift up to 25 lbs (firewood bundles don’t carry themselves!)
⛺ Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
